As a BC Mortgage Broker, I get asked by friends and family all the time why people who have mortgages should deal with a mortgage broker as opposed to the local branch of their bank. Every clients situation is unique and different. A bank can offer you only their rate and their products. As a BC Mortgage Broker I have access to the 40+ lenders that are available to me not locally but across Canada. 40 lenders translates into over 400 mortgage products.
